NAPIGEN is a biotech company that aims to harness the power of mitochondria by use of its unique genome editing tools.  NAPIGEN's proprietary technology provides business opportunities in agriculture, human healthcare, and industrial biotechnology.  The company's first business target is to address the food security needs of our society in view of the dramatic population increase expected this century.  In addition, we explore the use of our gene editing technology for the cure and treatment of severe human diseases caused by mutations in mitochondrial DNA.
